Product Management

In my roles, I have been responsible for the product management of both content and development lifecycle implementing a robust testing program to provide data-driven results, including:

  • Producing creative products and materials
  • Managing the product roadmap
  • Managing website development and strategy
  • Designing, organizing, and facilitating focus groups, interviews, and user experience studies

✔ Passion for Code.org’s mission and the TeachAI vision.

I align with the core values of computer science education, equity, accessibility, and inclusion through my experiences teaching with Tech Kids Unlimited, Luma Labs, and as a reading tutor for Read718.

✔ Ability to execute given high-level direction and frequently check in for alignment with the TeachAI lead.

My freelance and full-time experience has allowed me to establish product kick-off meetings that thoroughly define the scope and direction and schedule project milestones that ensure successful outcomes.

✔ The ideal candidate should have a background in creative design, education, or media studies, with at least three years of experience in content production across various media formats, including website and graphic design, within the context of education.

 Master’s in Integrated Digitial Media from New York University 

Creative graphic designer with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

• Responsible for creating websites using tools such as WordPress, Shopify, and Square Space.

Exceptional writing and editing skills. Experience creating marketing materials as well as writing reports, briefs, or academic papers.

Master’s thesis academic paper on childhood literacy and how augmented reality can enhance outcomes.

Wrote reports for testing results, UX improvements, and other processes regularly.

• Contributed to academic publication AI or Die on AI usage and the importance of user experience design in emerging technologies

• Delivers lessons to students daily on new materials and answer questions to ensure understanding.

 Speaks on panels and presented research at conferences.

Presents to internal and external teams as well as executive leadership.

✔ Ability to self-produce and edit video, including proficiency with video editing tools.

Used Adobe Premiere, CapCut, and other editing tools to create video content for employer Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Peace Love Lo, a vegan baking and cooking page I started in 2020. The short-form videos ranged from instructional to entertainment with one video receiving 25.8K views.

My previous role at Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. required 7 multi-day conference trips per year.
