The Meat Aisle

AR Experience

The task was simple enough. Make an uncomfortable situation come to life via an AR intervention using the basic mechanics of tracking and 3D models. My original thought was an elephant in front of a subway turnstile which evolved to be a cow in the meat aisle mooing angrily at shoppers. In planning the scenes, however, I decided to focus on empathy rather than fear. Cue Sara McLachlan’s song Angel and we have truly have an intervention.
