A Guide for Visionary Educators

Highlighted the critical role of user experience design in emerging technologies as a tool to create more engaging experiences in the classroom in the chapter “Augmented Reality and UX Design in Education: Enriching Learning Experiences,” and provided commentary and a rating on the AI generated version of the chapter . 

Spoke on a panel during NYC EdTech Week at The Squadron NYC, where we discussed our work and how we can approach AI now and in the future.

User Experience and Testing Manager

Managed user experience design and testing program for Tommy Hilfiger North America (usa.tommy.com). Notable projects include:

  • Redesigned homepage
  • Conducted an 12 – 15 A/B and usability tests annually
  • Collaborated on multi-brand design system using Figma tokens for replatforming
  • Optimized checkout and newsletter sign-up flow
  • Designed capsule shopping pages (Timberland, Romeo Hunte, Disney, etc)
  • Collaborated on virtual reality (VR) shopping experience
  • Redesigned NA Tommy Stories page
  • Established user generated content (UGC) feeds

ReSight AR Competition

Winner of Best Idea & Best Presentation

ReSight, an augmented reality (AR) spatial application company that uses artificial intelligence for mapping, hosted an Augmented Reality design challenge to use their latest SDK. Of 70 applicants, 15 were chosen to compete. 

UX design approach and with research I conduced on augmented learning, I created an educational augmented reality mobile application prototype and accompanying presentation and demo video. After review by judges against the other competitors, Language Learner won Best Idea and Presentation. 

New York University (NYU) Course

Curriculum Developer & Instructor

Developed curriculum, prepared course materials such as syllabus, lesson plans, and handouts, and delivered lectures for 2 courses in summer sessions on UX design and extended reality (XR) for over 30 students using Google Classroom
